Ready to meet the newest member of South Carolina’s technology family?

Spot is part of a new approach to attracting young people to the tech workforce from SC Tech, an initiative of the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness designed to promote information technology and other tech jobs around the state.

While Spot might be a hard worker, the dog also has rhythm.

Attendees will be able to see the 100lb dog perform a series of gyrations and bends, extended its “neck” to look out over the audience, and it even might jump into the air a few times.

And guess what…you can help name it!

A naming competition is underway at SC Competes to help name the Dog, currently named “Spot,” from Boston Dynamics!
